Microlight planes - open day

The Waikato Microlight club are holding a fun filled open
day for the whole family.
With microlight flights, free style motor-x, RC planes, and more. Come and walk around, relax and learn about all the sports taking place on the airfield that weekend.
Adults $5, Children $2. Pay at the gate.
Waikato Times Food and Wine Festival

A prestigious epicurean event nestled amongst the roses at
Hamilton Gardens!
Village-style stall holders will offer the very best of
gourmet food, beverages and wines, with a particular focus on produce from the
Waikato in what will be a finale for the Waikato Times Hamilton Gardens Arts
Festival.
Patrons will be able to stroll through the roses, sampling
the various gourmet delights and cooking demonstrations, and soak up a
smorgasbord of jazz and blues on the main stage.

to party at what is being dubbed "New Zealand's Largest Annual Sporting
Event".
The
Hamilton 400 v8s hit the turf and hallmarks the third in a seven year series of
thrilling races in which V8 Supercar Championship drivers race for the Mark
Porter Memorial Trophy.
From start
to finish, the event programme includes a sensational mix of motor racing,
non-stop entertainment and much-loved rugby games set amidst a carnival
atmosphere that will appeal to families as much as motor-racing enthusiasts.
